I've been staring at this for just too long and I'm sure there's more stuff that's off, so I'm wondering if anyone would mind helping me find areas where there's a mistake, e.g. a line that implies highly unlikely mountain shapes, lines where it's not clear what's supposed to be going on, and any other problems. Any other thoughts are welcome too.
(I plan on coloring and shading these, so the overall starkness of the black lines is going down eventually. Lines may be thinned a bit too.)

I think these mountains look pretty good so far, if there is anything wrong with them it sure isn't noticeable, I'd be pretty happy with myself had I done this line work, I think it looks great, and I cant wait to see them with some shading.
Oh wow, i really love those mountains! This is an exceptionally good mountain-style in my opinion. And while i am not 100% sure what you're asking, i don't think that there is any problem with your mountain chains. Or if there is, it so much in the details that i did not notice it while looking at your map.
Your forests look pretty good as well, btw.
I'm looking forward to the development of this map.

Yeah, I'm not sure what you are unsure about either. The linework for the mountains and the map I general looks very nice and appealing. Can't wait to see this progress (:
A wonderful set of mountain ranges ! If you really want me to nitpick I'd say that some of your single peaks seem a little bit askew (a tiny little bit) and in some places, you gotta check your mountain legs. Some of them are shorter on the outside of the mountain range giving the impression the terrain is higher outside the mountains. It's very hard to spot as you did a real good job.
Great, well I went ahead and started some shading. Thoughts would be most welcome, especially if something looks wrong.

And a slightly darker version:

300% zoom, btw, so zooming out is necessary to get good sense of real blurriness.
I now realize that this is going to take a really, really long time

Incredible line work there! But I have a hard time seeing the difference of shading between those two pictures, I don't know then if this difference is really noticeable when looking at the entire map.
I don't see any difference either.
It looks very good though! Both of them
How did you do the forest?
