Question Mobile device/laptop to work with/draw with in PS?

Okay, since we're pretty much forced to take a lunch break at work by law I've been thinking about getting a mobile device to work with during the breaks and the downtimes. Maybe a laptop/tablet combination like the Surface Pro series. Thing is, I've got no experience at all with mobile devices, being a stoic desktop PC guy from the 90ies. Has anyone of you any experiences with working in Photoshop with a tablet/laptop device? Any recommendations?

I use the surface pro 4 and I love it, it's the only computer I use for PhotoShop. It took a bit of getting used to, and you have to work you're way around not having shortcut keys, but if you have PhotoShop cc it has a ctrl, alt, and shift button that you can dock on the side, and if you need more shortcut keys you can download toolbar creator, and customise all the buttons you want, but I tend just to use the ones built into PhotoShop. I've been using it for over a year now and I have a tough time going back to a desktop after getting used to my surface.

I've wanted a Surface Pro for ages, but can't justify paying that much for a tablet (I know its a proper windows device, but my track record with tablets isn't very good).

How large are the files you use in PS on the Surface Pro 4, and what version of PS are you using. What about the screen size?

I generally work at 5700 by 3900 pixels which is 19 by 13 inches because that's the size I print, I haven't gone any bigger then this because I just don't need to, and I use PhotoShop cc, I find it's one of the few programmes that's touch friendly enough to use on the surface. I tried using gimp on it, and it works but it's pretty clunky. I wouldn't recommend it if you're using gimp, but PhotoShop cc has allot of touch gestures, and shortcut keys for tablet users, and I can work comfortably on it. I don't know the exact dimensions of the screen off hand, it's smaller then my desktop for sure, but it works for me. I have a pretty beefy desktop that I never use because I just prefer to use my surface. I've even been trying out some 3D programs on it lately, and it's holding up pretty well.

    Thanks for this info Kacey.
I have been thinking of getting a surface for a while so I can get away from my desk for a while.
    It's much appreciated.
