This month's challenge was to create a map that also featured an inset map. We had some good, nay, GREAT entries, and here they are:
Challenge Entries
Please vote for as many entries as you'd like, and don't forget to rep those you feel are worthy. Voting will end about this time Thursday night, at which time the winner will receive a big, fat, juicy.... cheeseburger! Hah! You thought I was gonna say Golden Compass, didn't you? ...Just kidding. They get a Compass.
NOTE: Frost Birch's map is eligible for voting. While he initially entered a map that he'd started before the challenge began, he completely re-did it during the challenge, so... good to go.

Yes. You can vote for as many as you like, but only once, so make sure you haven't forgotten one you really wanted to vote for before you click the vote now button. You can even vote for yourself if that is your wish

I think Daniel really nailed this one.
GLS had a great look.
Lordcartoart was good too but it felt like the insert didn't have as much impact as say Daniel's did. Still good job though.
Tilt's made me happy though and that should count for something. I will say I wanted to see the skate, maybe with mice hanging on the sides as it sped along

I've been pretty busy these days and haven't been able to comment on any thread but I watched and some productions of this challenge are simply amazing. Kudos to Daniel and Greg, I especially loved your maps !
Had to vote for Daniel - beautiful map - no small mice running around, but still beautiful

This has been quite a good challenge. I wanted to take part but I've had other things to do. Well done everyone though, I can see insets becoming more of a regular feature.
A great Challenge - yes. Lots of beautiful entries.
I feel highly honoured to have been included as a member of Tilt's 'Operation Swiss Cheese' gang
