Default May / June '17 Lite Challenge: A Fictional Camping Trip

Hey all! I've finally gotten around to doing a map for a challenge. It's been waaay to long since I've participated in a challenge.
I had a few ideas for this, such as making a map for the recent trip to Europe I went on (not quite summer, but maybe close enough).
Instead I started on a map that will map the adventures of a fictional camping trip (I don't have any name in mind yet).
I would really like to go on a bike trip and a canoe trip (two things I hope to do this summer), so that's where the inspiration for this map comes from.
The inspiration for the landscape comes from Big Whiteshell Provincial Park in eastern Manitoba, which is part of the Candadian Shield.
This fictional journey will be completed by bike, canoe and foot. Plenty of adventures, camping, and maybe troubles, are ahead.

So far I have drawn a bike loaded with gear and the actual map part of it is under construction.
I hope to draw an illustration of a canoe and a tent as well, and maybe a small map of a camp.

That's a heavily loaded bike you've got there. I hope there aren't too many hills....

Looks great so far, and I love the idea.

Maybe its one of those bikes where you can remove the pedals to prevent it being ridden away by someone else?

Thanks Bogie! Haha, I didn't see it that way until you pointed it out.

Thanks Tenia! Yes, that will be necessary to start the trip.

It's kind of in the middle of no where, I don't see the use of that.

There isn't too much to share yet, I've mostly just done small things. I'll post when I've got some more done. I'm glad you're looking forward to it.
