Wip New Inspiration - My next homebrew world

So I haven't been drawing maps for a little while, but couldn't help myself when I can across this new brush set by Joel Pigou (https://joelpigou.tumblr.com/).

I haven't really put any thought into planning this world yet. Just drawing in whatever seems to work well, and trying out the full brush set.

Here is the line-work I've done so far:

And I added in some color quickly just to see how it might look. Once I've done all the line-work I'll recolor in more detail.

Happy for comments and feedback and ideas (particularly struggling with drawing the rivers in a style that works with the brush set)

I've muted the colors a bit, and added in some rivers. I think I'm pretty happy, now just to do the rest of the map...

I like the pen and ink with watercolour wash effect you've got going with this map

    Thanks Mouse.

Here are today's contributions. It's frustrating I have only an hour here or there to work on this

    This is beautiful work, jslaw

You may not have much time to do your mapping, but you make such good use of the time you have!

I love the mountains, and the detail of the tree symbols!

And I'm sorry I missed the previous update. There are so many new members all at once that I seem to be loosing my grasp on who's what and where just lately!

Oh my! I can see you are using at least some brushes to do this, but the WAY you are using them is just beautiful

Do you make these brushes yourself?
