    Map The City of Alirya

    Hello !

Here is the drawing of a city, which began with a kind of doodle in pencil on a gridded page, to which I returned during the few hollow moments some days ...
Then I scanned these beginnings and I set myself there more seriously, to finish with the colors in a somewhat peculiar atmosphere at the end of a day.
Eventually, the city came alive and found its place on the shore of Lake Alirya, in the world of Nossym. You can find it on this map.
Thanks in any case to all those who helped me make it more beautiful through this thread... Because, suddenly I started again on another city ... Something more serious this time. It's a drawing from the capital city of Aylesdeen ... It'll be an illustration of the same style, in more or less the same format, which I hope to be able to share on this forum soon.

    Oh boy!

*rubs paws together and grins with glee*

A bigger and more complicated version of the same kind of thing?

    I really can't wait

    This is gorgeous, Jo!

Well, the water turned out just right. This is fantastic, and I cannot wait for other pieces of art in this style.

Wow, JO, outstanding. I love how you did the water, The effect is great.
The fields within the city walls on the stone floor look odd to me, but bedise that it is really super illustration.

Sure, what i ment is not about the drawing itelf, but the choice of placement. I never encountered fields within city walls, especially if it's more or less castle-cathedral walled urbanized area. I would see those outside walls where farmers would plow their fields on meadows. Kinda strange see the field in the middle of the city.
