    I am proud to be a part of this kickstarter with my map to the Forbidden Lands - an upcoming roleplaying game by the Free League. Kickstarter - Forbidden-lands-retro-open-world-survival-fantasy

    Yeah, that map is awesome. Wonderful details, and the hex's a very subtle which is pleasing as it doesn't compete with the over all work.

    Gorgeous - and that's despite my pet hate of hexagons!

    Somehow you have them nicely under control, so that they are only a grid, rather than a major feature of the map.

    Thanks everyone!

    @Falconius & Mouse: I think the hex looks subtle because the landscape and the terrain actually follows the hex. Mid creation the Free League wanted to add the hex, so instead of just adding a hex to the current map I started over and instead adding the terrain -to- the hex. The challenge here was to make the map not appear hexagonal.

    Very beautiful style! Whether with the mountains or the forests, the map has a special "signature", which gives an very peculiar atmosphere! It's very successful! Beautiful work! And I join the choir about the hexes : It's made in a very intelligent way !
