This is my finished map for the Feb/March light challenge "map my world".

Bogie provided the main coastal shape and locations so I'd like to give a big shout out to him for doing such an awesome job and inspiring so many great maps for the challenge... In my opinion he deserves credit for every single map that came out of it.

The texture back round came from CoyoteMax, he has a great selection over on Deviant Art and they work well to mix and match, this one is a few of them mixed together with some colour adjustments.

I used the donjon, Markov and star wars name generators for most of the location names with a few letters shuffled around here and there.

The fonts I used are Windlass and IMFell English, both found on dafont.com

And the city icons were inspired by Abu Lafia.

I feel really honored and a little overwhelmed to have won the challenge, especially since the other entries were so damn good and I want to thank every one who left comments and critique in the wip thread which can be found here https://cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?t=40707 and to every one that voted... I can't believe I actually won a CartographersGuild challenge with all the amazing talent around here... This is crazy for me, thank you so much!

Great map kacey! I love to style and color scheme you went with. You may be surprised that your map won the challenge, but I'm not; in my opinion this is stuff that you'd find in a high-quality regular challange!
