Wip April / May '18 Lite Challenge: Bad Sun Island

Three iterations later finally have something I feel I can work with. Critiques, criticisms and ideas more than welcome.

Welcome to the challenge, glad to have you on board. Good start on the map now you need to have a cool book cover.

Your cities are fantastic! I like the mountains in the south a lot, too.

Thank you Boogie, Mouse and Aeshnidae. Here is the final version of the map I will be able to get together before the end of the challenge. My main focus was using the challenge as a deadline/outline for a full map.

Here is the book cover version of the map. Still in the learning stages of PS so it's nothing special, but I hope it looks good regardless.

Nice work on both the map and the bookcover!
Don't forget they have to be combined into one image so that the thumbnail "scraper" will pick them both up.

That looks good, but instead of a white background, see how it looks with a wood table background.

If you happen to be looking for a nice bit of wood now that Bogie has made that excellent suggestion, you can get some here at Textures.com. There are a lot of seamless textures so it doesn't have to be a large image (ie one you have to pay for). If you create an account you are allowed to have 15 free textures a day, though they are the lower resolutions, at about 1000 pixels square
