Tips on effective searching?

I am coming up empty with what i have tried so far.

I speaking specifically towards DND types of searching and I understand that is not the only stuff going on here.

Suppose i wanted to see if someone has made a thief guild map. Will i be able to find a general topic like that? Or do people generally name their maps based on certain modules or adventures?

Any help for doing effective searches.

Yeah this is a perennial problem. I used to make a scraper to filter all the threads into groups of named tags. But now we have the tagging system on the forum except hardly anyone uses it. The forum seach - even advanced search - is not too great imo. You can go to google and type a "site:cartographersguild.com thieves guild" and it usually does better than the forum search.
