Sept / Oct '18 Lite Challenge: Map a location from a Harry Potter Movie.
September 18th until end of day October 14th

This month's Challenge is to create a map based on any location from any one of the Harry Potter movies. It could be a very specific location like Dumbledore's room or the whole of Hogwart's Castle. It could be The Weasley's house or a map of England showing where all the secret locations are. All kinds of ways to do this, can't wait to see what you come up with.

Win a silver compass, they are great souvenirs!

The Challenge will run until the end of the day on the 14th of October, (Midnight eastern daylight time between the 14th and 15th, more or less, depending on when I can get to the computer to start the voting) and then there will be 3 days of voting. Someone is going to win a Silver Compass, it could be yours!

As usual, title your threads: "Sept / Oct '18 Lite Challenge: << your title here >> "

Don't forget to put the hashtag: ### Latest WIP ### in front of all WIP pictures, and especially in front of your final map. And don't forget, there is a WIP button that automatically posts this for you. Try it, You'll like it!

And remember, if you put more than one image on the same post, only one of them gets picked up.

Quick rules reminder: The Lite Challenge is open to anyone who has not already won 3 Silver compasses, 1 Gold Compass, or been selected as a featured Cartographer's Choice Map.
Also, the map has to be started after the first day of the challenge, no reusing older maps even if they were not finished.

I'm actually surprised there weren't more entries. The ones we have are all great though.

I know nothing of Harry Potter except for half a trolley stuck to a wall in Kings Cross station in London where people queue up for photographs. I believe that's related. And owls were involved somewhere as well.

This month's theme didn't inspire me much. Also, I've got a huge commission going on (I can't wait to show you all). Looking forward to next month's challenge, though!

I can't believe I missed such a nice theme. As a Harry Potter fan I would have loved to draw such a map but the last weeks were horribly busy and I didn't have a lot on my mind except work.
