The Island Nation of Grinland

I'm continuing to work on my pen and ink map techniques. On this particular map I wanted to try a more figurative style of mountain, which I think works nicely with other elements that have sort of come out as my "style". The other thing I wanted to do with the mountains this time was to shade them with a copic marker before scanning. I was pretty happy with the results on paper, but not so much after scanning the map.

To that end, I think I need to use a better scanner if I want to preserve the quality of my drawn map, the lettering on this one feels a bit blurred post scanning.

Anyway, I'm always looking for feedback and appreciate the wealth of knowledge found on these boards.

Not bad! It's maybe a little too stripped down for my taste, but it does make the thing very clear and readable. I really like how your coastlines look here, the lines are a wonderful touch.
