Continuing the topic, I will not work on the whole map but instead focus only on North America (and Iceland).
I might leave the effect of rising oceans aside.

I started working on this project a while ago only to stop suddenly because I'm not sure what to do with it anymore.
It was supposed to be a map sowing the change of vegetation caused by global warming.
But it was complicated so I'm going for an ideal Earth, where the flora and fauna still dominate the landscape.
I assume it's going to be better with colours but how does it look so far.
My main concern was the density, is it too high?
The other reason why I stopped was because I was trying to find a different way to represent the different kind of vegetation.

I think I'm done.
I tried to include the information while keeping the map easy to read and accurate.
Is it better to include both map together or separate?
The map projection is Robinson (I think) that's why there is a frame in the corner. Don't know what else to do with it.

I really like that a lot. So much detail but still nice and clear.

I like the projection.
Having the maps separate lets you flip back and forth between the two and see the changes.
On the other hand, having them together keeps the story intact.
But I'd rather see them stacked instead of side-by-side.
I uploaded the separate version here:
