Here is another map I have been working on for a while and just completed. It is more 'zoomed out' then my normal maps, which was a bit different. I tried several different styles of depicting the cities (as can be seen in the northeast corner) before settling on the small building style, inspired by one of Illanthers recent posts. I also tried the old wrinkled parchment background, which is something I have been wanting to do for a while but never planned far enough ahead. Finally, the swirly background was a final decision in an attempt to help make the paper pop a bit more. Let me know what you think!

Nice work. Yes, the swirly background does provide a nice interesting contrast to the white parchment. I like those forests and mountains as well.
