    Good Day to all,

I'm working on a new regional map for my DnD Campaign.

My first draft is my first shot with this kind of map. Maybe you can give me some feedback, I'm not sure about the hight of the mountain ranges. If I had done the mountain ranges in scale, they would have looked quite small. Now they look indeed to big. Has someone experience with the ratio to scale the mountains up for good looks, but at the same time doesn't overdo the thing?

    Thanks

I don't see anything inherently wrong with the scale of your mountains. It's true that the vertical axis is grossly exaggerated, but that happens to a lot of maps. Remember those bumpy continent maps your geography teacher had hanging in class? The highest mountains were several cm high. Compared to the entire width of the continent that's a MASSIVE vertical exaggeration, but if it helps convey a message, why not!
