    Default Hand drawn region map

    Hello there
I was wandering on the forum, watching amazing hand drawn maps. With quite a lot of free time lately, i decided to give that mapping style a try!
I'm working with a surface pro and a pencil with photoshop.
This is almost a first attempt at that style of map for me, so if you see technical faults, feedbacks are welcome

Nice style, the colors look quite friendly.

    About suggestions for possible improvements:
I think you could work a bit on your shadows (mountains and sand hills) by deciding for a more distinct light direction.
And the tree trunks look rather prominent - I'm no expert map illustrator, but I think I'd add more trunks here and make them shorter or not show them at all.

Are you planning to add inscriptions and/or a frame?

Thanks for the feeback Yrda, yep i think i'll try to add labels and a frame to the map.
I've given up with the tree trunks, it was a bit difficult.
Here's an update with some work on shadows, a few more lines and some places.

Looks good! The buildings are well-done. The only thing I don't really like about them is that their lower left edges look a little "floaty" over the map.
