July/Aug '20 Lite Challenge: Map this Shape

This month's Challenge is one I resurrect about once a year. Design a map using this shape I am providing. You can make anything you want out of it. Map an island, a lake, a continent, an ocean etc. Make it big medium or small!! Make it the entire focus of your map or map everything around it. Get creative. The only stipulation is that this shape should be easily recognizable in your map.

The Challenge will run until the end of the day on the 14th of August, (Midnight eastern daylight time between the 14th and 15th, more or less, depending on when I can get to the computer to start the voting) and then there will be 3 days of voting. Someone is going to win a Silver Compass, it could be you!

As usual, title your threads: "July/Aug '20 Lite Challenge: << your title here >> "

Don't forget to put the hashtag: ### Latest WIP ### in front of all WIP pictures, and especially in front of your final map. And don't forget, there is a WIP button that automatically posts this for you. Try it, You'll like it!

And remember, if you put more than one image on the same post, only one of them gets picked up.

DEADLINE: End of day, August 14th

Quick rules reminder: The Lite Challenge is open to anyone who has not already won 3 Silver compasses, 1 Gold Compass, or been selected as a featured Cartographer's Choice Map.
Also, the map has to be started on or after the first day of the challenge, no reusing older maps even if they were not finished, unless you start over from scratch.

Already have an idea I want to try to run with, but working 7 days a week is gonna eat up a lot of my time. On a side note, however, my boss has another week and a half to try to fix the staffing issues before my notice hits, sooooo, if he can't get me some much needed relief, I might have all sorts of time here shortly. Anyways, gonna play with this a bit and see if my idea starts panning out before I officially enter.

So, I am back, sort of. Don't have much time for this place just yet, but wanted to say there are some really great entries this month. Not sure if I will continue working on mine or not as I was actually working on it when I got "the call," and I suspect it would just feel awkward.

Looking forward to the "challenge" of voting this time round.
