September 2020 challenge: 15th century harbour front

This is a very first thought of something that could become a map.
It’s still just a tiny sketch and i might completely ditch it in favour of a different setting or even topic.
Basically the only thing set for know is the fisheye perspective that i wanted to try on a proper drawing for a long time already.

My first thought is literally what came to my mind when i read the challenge topic; it’s a harbour front of a late medieval hanseatic town, as it provides a long front of buildings that can nicely follow the curve of the perspective.

As mentioned before, this is only a rough concept sketch. The actual drawing would be a fair bit larger and on a proper sheet, not in a sketchbook. Therefore this won’t get a Latest WIP tag.

Very cool. I was hoping someone might go for the fisheye lens. This will be a fun one to watch take shape.

Excited to see this 'fisheye' perspective, don't know that I've ever see anyone attempt that style.
