    Help Wilbur Texture Menu

I was working on a new map with Wilbur and ran into a problem: the Textures menu disappeared.

Not a huge issue, until I went to get a sea mask...

So, in an effort to troubleshoot it myself:

I checked the 'View' and 'Windows' to see if I had hidden the menu: nothing there.

So, to rectify the problem, Went through the following steps:

I checked the logs to see for any warnings or errors: nothing present.
I uninstalled the version (1.89) and reinstalled: this had no effect.
I tried using Wilbur through Raw version.
I uninstalled the 64-bit version and installed the x386 version (1.8: no effect.
I uninstalled the x386 and cleaned my registry: no effect.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Microsoft redistributables and reinstalling the both the 64 and 386 versions (separate from one another): no effect.
I cleaned the registry again and tried a soft restore to earlier date: its just strange, but the texture menu is still missing.

Anyone had a similar issue? Am I doing something wrong?

See attached screen shots. Any help to recover from this would be AWESOME!

See if running regedit and deleting the Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Slayton Software\Wilbur key fixes the problem. The freebie Visual Studio installer component shouldn't be cleaning up the things created during the runtime of Wilbur.

Wiping the Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Slayton Software\Wilbur\Workspace key might leave any existing settings that you have.

    Thanks.

I was staring at the components of the Slayton Software tree and had noticed that FT3 and FT Pro were both there and didn't want to start randomly deleting. I was under the assumption that some of FT's tools are either evolutions from Wilbur or direct carryovers!

Luckily, I imagine you have a good idea of what is what in that world.

    Rep given!

Wilbur and each of the FT versions are completely independent in their registry usage.
