    Map Town of Norledew

This was supposed to be my entry for the last lite challenge but due to some scheduling and hardware problems I couldn't participate. On the last day of the challenge I found some free time to finish it but couldn't make it in time. Hope you will like it.
I also add the generated map in case anyone wants to see it.

Well done. I really love the perspective you used. Top down, but with enough of an angle that you don't only see the roofs.

Very nice map!! I also commend you for going for a perspective on the town. It's hard to get right, so well done.

One note I would make is your choice for water color. Without looking at the details like the docks, it seems like sky. I would suggest, just a tad darker water color would much better fill out the bottom of the map.

Again, really cool work on the map.

Thanks a lot. I have been practicing for a while about the perspective for a while. I will add elevation on the next one.

Thanks. I gave it a try when I was making the map. It looked a little bit dark for me but please take a look. I am not too happy with the texture either.

Nice! That looks much better. The water seems more blended into the map. Definitely a big improvement.

I do find it interesting that you think it's too dark. When you look at references of towns on the side of lakes, or coastal towns, the water is even darker. (And regarding the texture, it works perfectly fine, though if it really bugs you, test out different ones until you find one that suits you. ) That said, I do like the look.

I'm with XCali on this. Think it looks just fine the way it is. Likely would have been a contender in the challenge, so we'll done.

I wanted bit more contrast in the work but as you said it looks better when I take a look at with new pair of eyes. I think I will use this version on my portfolio.
