Must. Not. Say. Naughty. Things.
It looks to be progressing nicely.
These pics are from a map I began a few days ago, being created for a rpg convention game in February. As can be seen the map began on graph paper (this was the final sketched version, out of 5 or 6), which was scanned then played with to determine rough districts & streets.
When finished this should be a reasonable representation of a town of around 4,000 with quazi-medieval Austrian architecture.
This is my 1st map after a couple year break from mapping. I Had a detailed campaign world mapped out during college, but my PC after college wouldnt let me use CC-2.

Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

Looks like giant ovaries...or gonads. We'll just see how it goes.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Phew, I was so relieved to see I wasn't the only one thinking of genitals. Strangely androgynous genitals, but still... Nice map, I guess...?
Seems to be a consensus... similar thing happened on one of my earlier maps

When this many people see naughty bits it might be time to change the shape! lol!
I saw an upside-down tulip (and naughty bits).

Like I said, this was my 5th or 6th version of the island. On previous versions my fiance said the island looked to much like a "Twig & Berries", as it was longer and narrower at that time. After several redraws she said this one didn't have that look, and now I guess it looks like something else. I guess I have a clean mind...lol...I only saw an alien looking face.
i like the idea of the map... but unfortunately i see breasts, ovaries and a ham... i had a "symmetrical phase" long ago so i understand the drive to retain that symmetry.. but try altering that a bit and it might make a huge difference.. or something.. (0:
